Community Support
The
work of APCC is funded through the annual dues of our 3,600 individual
and business members, and through gifts and grants from individuals, foundations
and businesses in response to our various appeals.
We are grateful for the continued generous support of our
members.
APCC would also like to thank the following foundations
and corporations for providing restricted grant support in 1999:
International Fund for Animal Welfare / Watershed
& Wildlife Reserve project
The Sudbury Foundation / Watershed & Wildlife Reserve project
The Pegasus Foundation / Watershed & Wildlife Reserve project
Community Foundation of Cape Cod / Watershed & Wildlife Reserve
project
Bell Atlantic Foundation / 1999 Environmental Expo
Citizens Bank / Aquifer project
Community Foundation of Cape Cod / Watershed Curriculum project
Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank / Business Roundtable
Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce (License Plate Grant Fund) / Business
Roundtable
ComElectric / Shore Lines newsletter (2)
Compass Bank / Shore Lines newsletter
Rogers & Gray Insurance / Shore Lines newsletter
APCC gratefully acknowledges a grant of $254,000 from the
Bernice M. Whitcomb Trust in 1999 supporting our efforts to preserve the
natural resources and protect the unique character of Cape Cod. Combined
with a generous gift in 1998 from the Pemberton Whitcomb Trust, APCC has
established the ÒAPCC Endowment FundÓ - a Board designated, professionally
managed fund which is invested for the long-term strength of the organization.
