APCC Staff
Nineteen ninety-nine was a year of transition. After nearly twelve years of service, Susan Nickerson stepped down as APCC's Executive Director. Susan's dedication to the protection of Cape Cod's natural resources earned her the praise of fellow environmentalists, business and community leaders, and elected officials on the local, state, and federal level. Her positive influence on Cape Cod's environmental movement will be felt for many years to come.
APCC's Board of Directors is pleased to announce the selection of Margaret Geist as the new Executive Director. Margaret comes to us from the Waquoit Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve. Her science background, combined with her extensive knowledge of the critical issues affecting Cape Cod such as water resource protection, wastewater treatment options, and wise land management practices, will provide APCC with the strong leadership necessary to accomplish our future goals.
