More restaurants to choose from....and weather friendly weekends gives us time to travel throughout New England for munching, tasting and dinning. From the North Shore to tip of Cape Cod, restaurants are opened for the season. The Taste of Essex was a foodies' delight, over 20 North Shore restaurants presented their best. A must try is Woodmans Seafood, Essex, the home of the orignal Fried Clam. Bud Woodman created this method of cooking some 50 years ago. May , 1998 Hundreds of foodies were treated to The TASTE OF HYANNIS, Hyannis, MA sampling some 12 entrees and desserts from local restaurants. It was a competition for restaurants to present their outstanding fare......Penquin SeaGrill, Paddock, Black Cat, Mooring, Roadhouse and Sweetwater Grill all participated. Exceptional fare that I look forward to next year. You missed the TASTE OF METRO SOUTH......May 27th. Mark your calendar for '99....the 7th annual event will feature some 25 outstanding restaurants throughout the Metro South and South Shore. Christo's , Brockton won the hearts of the patrons with Greek Lamb and the famous Greek Salad. Check out www.DininginMass.com for a complete listings of over 9000 restaurants in Massachusetts.
